Many of you may have noticed the stop and street sign at the entrance of our neighborhood is missing.
It was reported to our HOA Facebook page that the sign had tipped over (the wood had been reported as rotten). The sign is now missing as well.
The County roads department is responsible for the sign and its maintenance. Since it is a stop sign, this is an urgent repair request.
The missing sign was reported to Kitsap County public works on Monday, November 27. The roads department received the request and will update the officers when the work order to replace the sign is complete.
Also, it will be obvious. 🛑
Update 4 PM on Nov 27, only one hour after this notice: new stop sign is already installed!
Update 3 PM on Nov 29, new street sign is installed with the stop sign on a metal post. All set!
