Saturday, April 25 was our kick off event for Strawberry Safety, and WOW, what a turn out! Approximately 15 homes participated in leaving out branches for the chipper service.
- Thanks to Kitsap Quarry for their generous rock donation.
- Thanks to Archon Tree Service for the wood chipping.
- Thanks to Kitsap County Fire Department for the volunteers who worked around the neighborhood.
- Thanks to the CERT volunteer team who helped build emergency preparedness and led the exciting fire extinguisher demonstration station.
- Thanks to Duel Brown for delivering rock to neighbors with his tractor.
- Thanks to Paul Hoffman for volunteering to help neighbors in need, and was overheard saying, “Hey, does anyone else need anything?” ♥
