In your proposed amendment regarding trees – You state “common area tree concerns”. Years ago there was a distinction between common areas and greenbelt areas. The area behind my home was designated as greenbelt and that area was the responsibility of the Homeowners Association. Reading through your proposed document you do not address greenbelt areas. Years ago someone came and spoke to the Homeowners Association and presented incorrect information. You should have my response of who I talked to in that person’s office at the time and the correction of what area is called what.

You’re right; the document proposed does not address greenbelt areas. You are welcome to create a proposal to that end and present it at the HOA meetings for review. The CCRs show that Tracts A, B, and C on our plat map are considered “common areas” for the mutual enjoyment of the association members. According to our plat map, Tract D includes the greenbelt in the middle of the neighborhood. If you have information to the contrary, please share!
